CORKAGE FAQ
what is included in the corkage fee?
$10 per person includes:
- Glassware
- Pop selection (Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Diet Coke, Tonic Water, Club Soda)
- Straws
- Ice & ice buckets
- Lemons & limes
- Paper napkins
Note: You're welcome to bring your own juice or additional cocktail supplies.
what are the basic guidelines i need to follow?
- All alcohol must be purchased from a Saskatchewan Liquor Store
- No homemade alcohol (sorry, Uncle Joe)
- You must provide a valid liquor license at least 30 days in advance
- Bartenders must be booked through The Atlas° Hotel ($20/hr each)
- You provide your own bar signage
- The hotel does not provide drink tickets, ticket sellers, or cash floats
Note: As of January 1, 2026, the bartender rate will increase to $25 per hour.
what about delivery & setup?
- Alcohol must be delivered 24 hours before the event
- No deliveries before Friday night setup
- Bring your physical receipt and liquor permit when delivering
- Only sealed bottles can be accepted
- Items must be removed the next day; empties will not be stored
- Let us know if you'd like to take your recycling/empties
what extras should we bring ourselves?
- Any juice, extra garnishes, or cocktail mixers beyond the pop listed above
- Drink tickets, ticket sellers, and a cash float
- Your own bar signage
any advice for bottle sizing?
- Avoid giant jugs, bartenders need bottles they can easily pour from
- Consider smaller bottles to prevent waste near the end of the night
- The hotel may combine ("marry") open bottles to reduce waste, it might look like a full one was opened, but it wasn't
can we serve wine at the bar & tables?
Yes, but:
- Please limit wine to 2-3 bottles max (bar wine, table wine, and head table wine)
- This helps manage inventory and avoid unnecessary waste
what about cash bars & tipping?
- You are responsible for your cash float and ticket sales
- The hotel cannot provide change or manage the cash bar
- Please delegate someone trustworthy to handle money (guestroom safes are available)
- Chat with our Event Specialist about tip jars and what's allowed
